Addison Kliewer reports on what Oklahoma voters have to look forward to:

The Oklahoma State Board of Education will hold its September meeting on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. The agenda for the meeting says Walters will have remarks at the beginning of the session, but there was no other mention of the possible resignation announcement. 

He told KOCO 5 in May that he was weighing entering the 2026 race for Oklahoma governor. 

"Again, I've got a lot of folks that really want me to jump in, and so, I've told them I'm focused on this session. I'm focused on the school year. We want to continue to see our schools be as good as possible, and, you know, we'll have conversations this summer around that," Walters said.
