Tiffany, 67, is now the highest profile Republican in the contest. Washington County Executive Josh Schoemann and former Navy SEAL and Whitefish Bay manufacturing CEO Bill Berrien are already on the campaign trail. 

"In 2026, Wisconsin will have a choice between opportunity, security, and freedom or following the path of failure seen in Minnesota and Illinois," Tiffany said in a statement after publicly announcing his bid on "The Dan O’Donnell Show" Tuesday. "I will not allow our state to be dragged down that woke and broke road."  [emphasis added]
