What's the matter with Iowa? Kimmi the Clown's lack of transparency

Headline:  Des Moines Register, 5/27/2025

William Morris reports on what Kimmi is hiding:
Since February, the Register has been seeking records of emails between senior Reynolds advisors discussing her response to a disparaging claim about Lutheran Family Services. During congressional testimony that month, Reynolds declined to answer questions about whether she agreed with a social media post by former Trump advisor Michael Flynn, boosted by billionaire Elon Musk, asserting that the social services arm of the church was a "money-laundering operation."
A week later, she clarified that she "absolutely" did not believe those allegations. Lutheran Services of Iowa President and CEO Renee Hardman also has flatly denied the allegations.
After a Register reporter sought any and all emails among Reynolds and her staff regarding the issue, her office delivered some but withheld four between senior staff members, saying they were exempt under "executive privilege," a legal doctrine protecting a government executive's right to obtain candid advice from advisers without fear of public disclosure.
