It's being repurposed for housing. An ongoing project for more than 10 years. Not sure if it will ever be completed. The bottom half of the photo used to be a summertime wiffle ball field in the late 1950s and early 1960s. A grassy expanse, once upon a time.

Total enrollment has dropped 56% since the 1979-80 school year. The peak enrollment period occured during the mid-1970s.

Twenty years ago, the school district consolidated the elementary schools in the City of Warren and opened the Warren Area Elementary Center.
