Noe Goldhaber reports:
Approved by the State Building Commission this summer, the project aims to restore deteriorating red-hue, grit-textured “cherry grit” paving outside the Capitol and enhance
stormwater systems at the National Historic Landmark. Following a January bid, construction is expected to begin in April next year, which would coincide with the spring return of the Dane County Farmers’ Market to the Capitol Square on Saturdays. The market relocates indoors during colder months.
