Acrisure, a Grand Rapids-based financial technology company, is laying off approximately 2,250 employees, representing an 11% cut to its workforce.
CEO Greg Williams announced the layoffs in a letter to employees May 20, citing advances in technology and artificial intelligence. He said the company intended to use “AI, data, and automation to reduce manual work and create faster, more consistent outcomes.”
