Days after the completion of a politically-charged renovation project at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, DC visitors are reporting the problematic green algae is back, and seemingly stronger than ever.
Back in April, President Trump called the pool "filthy" and announced plans to coat the bottom with the "latest and greatest filament" in a shade of "American flag blue." The expedited project wrapped up on Thursday to fanfare from the White House and the Department of the Interior.
