Saginaw County Michigan jumps back into red column after flipping for Joe Biden in 2020

 
Donald Trump received 50,785 votes in 2020 and 52,907 votes in 2024, a 4.2% increase of 2,122.

Joe Biden received 51,088 votes in 2020, and Kamala Harris received 49,498 votes in 2024, a 3.1% decrease of 1,590

The population of Saginaw County has declined in each of the last four decades. Many of the General Motors factories that gave the place an identity and thriving economy have closed. In downtown Saginaw, a city where 35 percent of residents live below the poverty line, the sidewalks are largely empty, even in the middle of a weekday.
