Another round in the recall battle: Robin Vos vs. Janel Brandtjen

He also said hundreds of signatures were collected outside of the 60-day deadline for the recall effort and specifically referenced Rep. Janel Brandtjen, who Vos said collected signatures in Mount Pleasant on Memorial Day. 

This is the latest in a series of disagreements between Vos and Brandtjen, who had chaired the Assembly's election committee until Vos removed her from the role in December 2022. The move came after Brandtjen endorsed Vos' primary opponent, Adam Steen, in that year's primary election. She was also booted out of the Republican caucus.
