Kristen Tenor on the Magic of Libraries
Link to Kristin Tenor's March 1 column in the Green Bay Press Gazette," Libraries are magical for kids, parents".
Excerpt: There are disadvantages to being the mother of two teenage daughters. There are never enough bathrooms in the house, and you look mighty strange slipping into storytime at the library without a toddler or preschooler in hand.
We've solved the bathroom drama — timers are indeed a beautiful invention. Storytime, though? We don't read "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" much in this house anymore. And I miss it. Terribly.
