Headline News: What Kansas Governor Sam Brownback said in 2012 and what's happening now

As lawmakers work to erase a projected $800 million budget gap for the fiscal year starting July 1, at least eight school districts that saw their funding cut this year because of a greater-than-projected slide in state tax collections will begin shutting down before the scheduled end of classes. Dozens of others have eliminated or cut programs.

And last November, Kansas voters elected this guy to a second term.

Well, you get what you deserve.

A few weeks ago I was reading comments on the WICHITA EAGLE's website concerning my in-law's school district having to close early.

Some people were pleased.
" Oh my goodness. The school has two less day to indoctrinate the children into hating their parents, Jesus and America. This is terrible news."
Other comments were complaining about Brownback, I guess they were too busy to vote.
