The Salina (KS) Journal takes a look at the 'Emperor's New Clothes'.  (3/10/2015)
  • State of Kansas budget deficits
    • $344,000,000 in current fiscal year
    • $1,000,000,000 over next two fiscal years
  • Taxes
    • sales tax raised
    • increased tax on alcohol and tobacco on the table
  • State's credit rating downgraded
  • Funding reduced for schools and highways

Add it to the list of failed experiments.
