Eugene experienced his greatest popularity from 1921 until 1936, a run of 15 years in the top 30. Best years: 1928 and 1929 at #20.
The only Eugene that I knew was a classmate in Miss Thoreson's 3rd grade class at Jefferson Elementary School in Warren PA 16365. The Kenworthy family moved to who knows where during the summer of 1959.
Jefferson closed in 2005 and has been vacant ever since.
The neglect is starting to take its toll.
