Foxconned in Lordstown Ohio: The swirling saga continues

Last week, Automaker Fisker announced its plans to pause manufacturing of the Pear at the Foxconn facility in Lordstown. 

Fisker expected to build the EV model at the former General Motors plant in the village. It raises new questions about the future of that site, but local leaders say they are still optimistic about the future of the auto industry in the Mahoning Valley. 

It is undoubtedly a fork in the road for Fisker. Guy Coviello, president and CEO of the Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber said there was never any agreement between Fisker and Foxconn. [emphasis added]

Empty promises.  Just like in Scott Walker's Wisconsin.
