Justine experienced a wild ride on the baby names chart.  From 1954 to 1957, she held on for dear life before moving up 373 places in 1958, a year after the publication of "Justine", the first of four books in Lawrence Durrell's "The Alexandria Quartet".  After peaking at #176 in 1987, her popularity quickly faded.
