Rep. Jeff Duncan won't seek reelection in his solidly Republican district in western South Carolina, opening the seat he's held since coming into Congress as part of the Tea Party wave of 2010. "At some point in a career, one needs to step aside and allow others to bring fresh and abilities," he wrote in a post to X, formerly known as Twitter. "I will not seek re-election to the US House of Representatives."
