“I just don’t understand why you’re here and not down there when we’ve never had a problem with our election,” Board Chair Travis Lingenfelter told Sen. Sonny Borrelli, R-Lake Havasu City.
Borrelli and Sen. Wendy Rogers, R-Flagstaff, two of the Legislature's leading election deniers, have been pushing Mohave to move to a hand count of ballots next year. (Makes for a nice mention in Rogers’ weekly fundraising pleas.)
“This is not about Trump or Biden, Hobbs or Lake,” Borrelli told the board on Tuesday. “This is a national security issue for me, pure and simple.”
