Day 729 of GOP election denier hysteria (Trump Big Lie Clown Show Circus in Florida)

Meet the stars of the
ATTACK Of the Clown Show zombies

Bumbling U. S. Senator
Rick Scott (R-Florida)

Headline:  CNN, 10/30/2022
“I think what we have to do is, one, we have to condemn the violence, and then we have to do everything we can to get people – make sure people feel comfortable about these elections,” the senator said.
I think what’s important is everybody do everything we can to make these elections fair,” he reiterated when Bash asked him again about it

GOP Zombie Henchman David DePape
Those who knew the alleged attacker, 42-year-old David DePape, say his behavior has been concerning. His Facebook page featured conspiracy theories common on right-wing media, saying Covid vaccines were deadly; that George Floyd, the Minneapolis man murdered by police officer Derek Chauvin, actually died of a drug overdose; that the 2020 election was stolen; and the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol was a “FARCE.” He reposted a number of videos by Mike Lindell, the Trump loyalist and chief executive officer of the MyPillow company, lying that the 2020 election was stolen.

Corrupt Ex-pres
Donald "Lock Him Up" Trump
Alternet, 10/27/2022
Trump responded with a reference to D’Souza's documentary titled, "2,000 Mules," before claiming some voters cast multiple votes.
“Yeah, ‘2,000 Mules’ was one way,” Trump replied. “That was a very conclusive way because you were taking government tapes. ... And then, of course, they voted six, seven, eight times. As much as they could in the local area. Some of the people went back, I guess they said 28 times in one day, to vote at different places.”
Although Trump has lauded D'Souza's film, which claims to uncover incidents of voter fraud, it has been described as "endlessly debunkable” by fact checkers.

Anna Paulina Luna (R-Florida)
U.S. House Candidate
Headline:  FiveThirtyEight, 10/25/2022
In May, Anna Paulina Luna donned a red-carpet-worthy ball gown to a screening of “2000 Mules,” a debunked documentary that falsely claims to show evidence of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election. In June, she made her stance on the 2020 election clear in an interview with MSNBC: “I believe that President Trump won that election, and I do believe that voter fraud occurred.” And in November, she will very likely be elected to Congress.
Luna is the Republican candidate for Florida’s 13th District, on the Gulf Coast around St. Petersburg. During redistricting last year, Republicans redrew this previously competitive district to be much redder, and as a result, Luna has a 97-in-100 shot at beating her Democrat opponent, according to FiveThirtyEight’s Deluxe forecast, as of Monday at 12 p.m. Eastern.

US House Rep Troy Nehls
HeadlineNew York Times, 10/23/2022
When Representative Troy Nehls of Texas voted last year to reject Donald J. Trump’s electoral defeat, many of his constituents back home in Fort Bend County were thrilled.
Like the former president, they have been unhappy with the changes unfolding around them. Crime and sprawl from Houston, the big city next door, have been spilling over into their once bucolic towns. (“Build a wall,” Mr. Nehls likes to say, and make Houston pay.) The county in recent years has become one of the nation’s most diverse, where the former white majority has fallen to just 30 percent of the population.

She added: "We need to acknowledge he let us down. He went down a path he shouldn't have, and we shouldn't have followed him, and we shouldn't have listened to him. And we can't let that ever happen again."
But Haley has since endorsed Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), who was part of the GOP effort to install fake Electoral College electors for Trump to overturn President Joe Biden's victory.
She's held campaign events for two GOP Senate nominees, Adam Laxalt in Nevada and Don Bolduc in New Hampshire, who are election deniers and have spread lies about the 2020 election.
Laxalt falsely claimed that Nevada had "thousands of illegal votes consisting of a combination of dead voters, out-of-state voters, double voters." Bolduc said that he would vote to overturn a possible Biden victory in 2024 and boasted about signing a letter endorsing the lie that Trump won the 2020 election.
Haley also campaigned alongside Rep. Mayra Flores, a Texas Republican who won a special election in June. Flores has multiple times refused to say that Biden was legitimately elected and spread false conspiracy theories that the Capitol insurrection was a false flag operation, sharing in a since-deleted tweet the assertion that "DC police let them through the gates! This was a set up! Antifa is definitely among this crowd!!!" [emphasis added]
Please excuse Nikki while she changes her chemise.

Virginia GOP Governor Glenn Youngkin
HeadlineWashington Post, 10/23/2022
Cheney, who for nearly two years has sounded the alarm on Trump’s false statements and their deleterious effects on both the Republican Party and American democracy, specifically called out Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R), who last week traveled to Arizona to hold a rally with GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, a prominent election denier.
