Wisconsin 2022 elections: Who's running in the 71st Assembly District?

The GOP gerrymandered 71st Assembly District is located wholly within Portage County.  There is no good reason why the entire area around Stevens Points can't be included in the same district.

Democrat Katrina Shankland is currently serving her 5th term in the Assembly.

Two Republicans will face off in the August 9, 2022 primary.  Soik unsuccessfully challenged Shankland in 2020, and Glisczinski seems to specialize in parroting Trumpy sound bites.  The winner faces Shankland in the November 8, 2022, general election.
