Republican Peter King represented the New York 3rd from January 1994 to January 2013. New York State lost 2 house seats in redistricting after the 2010 census. King now represents the New York 2nd.
Since redistriting, Democrats have won all 3 elections, although my narrowing margins. The current rep is Thomas Suozzi.
Clinton won 51.6% of the presidential vote compared to 45.5% for Trump.
