Julaine Appling and the Freeze-Dried Marriage Amendment Talking Point

Poll finds strong public support for repealing state's marriage amendment. (Wisconsin State Journal, 7/24/2014)

A shift that can't be talked away “That’s an important shift from where we were eight years ago and is in line with national data showing support for marriage at 55 percent,” [Poll Director Charles] Franklin said.

When reporters need a quote supporting Wisconsin's marriage amendment, they apparently have only one source, Julaine Appling.  That in itself is very telling.  Notice how Governor Walker throws  himself into a furious tap dance every time someone raises the topic with him.
