Endsley defeats his Republican primary challenger with 60% of the vote.


Biography:   Born Sheboygan, March 4, 1962; 2 children.

Graduate Sheboygan Falls H.S. 1980; B.S. UW-Platteville 1984.

Full-time legislator. Former sales manager.

Member: St. Paul Lutheran Church (council mbr., educ. com., building fund chp.); Wis. Right to Life; Sheboygan Co. Right to Life; Pro Life Wis.; Sheboygan Co. Republican Party; Sheboygan Co. Chamber of Commerce.

Elected to Assembly 2010.  Endsley beat the 4-term Democratic representative, Terry Van Akkeren, by 151 votes.  Van Akkeren is now Mayor of Sheboygan, having replaced the disgraced Bob Ryan in a special election.



The Democratic Challenger:  Mike Helmke


Helmke to seek Assembly seat.   Helmke served two terms as Sheboygan County Sheriff, losing to Todd Priebe in November 2010.
