Melvin enjoyed a strong, steady run during the 1st half of the 20th century, spending 55 years (1901-1955) in the top 100 and peaking at #47 in 1926.   Not sure what the 2002 blip is all about.

Today, only 43% of Americans identify as white and Christian, and only 30% as white and Protestant.

White evangelical Protestants were once thought to be bucking a longer trend, but over the past decade their numbers have dropped substantially

Approximately six in ten white evangelical Protestants (62%), white Catholics (62%), and white mainline Protestants (59%) are at least 50 years old.

Muslims, Buddhists, and Hindus each constitute only 1% of the public.

Where I'm standing.  Just before the Beltline curves to the north going past the Point Cinemas.

High Point Road bridge over Beltline to be replaced; traffic detoured for 7 months.  (Wisconsin State Journal, 2/2/2017)

The narrow two-lane bridge currently traversing the Beltline isn’t wide enough to accommodate four lanes of traffic, so the existing structure will be taken out and a new one erected. 

The project will also include new bicycle lanes in both directions, and sidewalks on both sides, including a new sidewalk on the west side of the street, from the bridge to the D’onofrio Drive intersection.
