Four GOP representatives from Michigan show off their gross ignorance of climate change for all the world to see

The letter from Republican Reps. Jack Bergman, John James, Lisa McClain and John Moolenaar cites repeated conversations with Canadian officials and a previous letter, which have so far culminated in what they called a "lack of meaningful progress." 

The representatives wrote that continued inaction from Canada is unacceptable, maintaining its government has had years to address the underlying causes of worsening wildfires.

As one commenter points out:

The rubes have no idea how big of a land mass exists where these fires are burning. Remote doesn't even fit, it is in true WILDERNESS, miles and miles from any roads, trails or any other way to get equipment in to do the job. There are not enough firefighting aircraft to even begin to touch this outbreak. They need to look at a MPA once but I doubt if they have the ability to do even that. MOOlenaar, James and the like are clueless.
