It's part of a growing national effort by anti-abortion advocates to make abortion a water-quality issue as nearly two-thirds of all abortions are conducted via medication.
"The people of Wisconsin deserve clean water and an assurance that harmful endocrine disruptors and pathological waste does not contaminate our lakes, streams, rivers, and wetlands," said [left to right] Sen. André Jacque, R-New Franken, and Reps. Lindee Brill, R-Sheboygan Falls, and Nate Gustafson, R-Omro, in a memo seeking cosponsors.

State Senate Democratic Committee spokesman Will Karcz criticized the bill as an effort "to find any way possible to restrict access to reproductive health care in Wisconsin and called it "super creepy."
