Donald Trump received 78,800 votes in 2020 and 85,449 votes in 2024, an 8.4% increase of 6,876.
Joe Biden received 260,185 votes in 2020, and Kamala Harris received 273.354 votes in 2024, a 5.3% increase of 13,769.

As expected, Harris won Wisconsin's fastest-growing county with a commanding margin. But Republicans also found signs of encouragement from the election results.
In 2016, when Trump won Wisconsin en route to the White House, he took 23.4% in Dane County. Four years later, when Joe Biden flipped the Badger State on his way to the White House, Trump checked in with 22.9%.
Last week, Trump bettered his 2020 numbers to return to 23.4%. That was just shy of Republican Party of Dane County Chair Brandon Maly’s goal of hitting 24% countywide, but the end result in the Madison area was not enough to lift Harris statewide.
Percentage of registered voters who cast a ballot increased from 89.3% in 2020 to 92.2% in 2024.
