Around Town Madison: Mixed messages at the entrance to West Towne Office Max

 

Retiring Guy drove to the West Towne Office Max recently and was surprised to find an empty parking lot as the approached the entrance.   Although the lights were on, a closed security gate indicated that the store was closed, three hours after its scheduled opening.

The clearly visible yellow sign at lower left tells a different story.   The rest of the signage is diffcult to read, especially for a 71 year old who's a candidate for macular degeneration.

Upon closer inspection, Retiring Guy determined that the store is temporarily closed.  Fortunately, a Best Buy is located two doors to the right.
