Green Bay Press Gazette, 8/13/2020)
Two counties in northeastern Wisconsin have become hot spots for COVID-19 in the state, and local observers say there's one big reason: People have gone back to partying like it's 2019.
Through Tuesday, Marinette County had by far the highest rate statewide of new cases per 100,000 residents over the past seven days and over the past 14 days.
Yesterday Marinette County exceeded the state average in highest COVID-19 positive test rate per 100,000 people. It ranks 9th among Wisconsin's 72 counties
Considering how Marinette County has voted since 2008, Retiring Guy finds this outcome to be no surprise. The county demonstrates the danger of listening to a rich, privileged, narcissistic blunderer masquerading as President of the United States.
