UPDATE. Door County cracks The Case of the Quadrennial Democrats

2014-2018 increase in Democratic vote totals:  19.2%
2014-2018 increase in Republican vote totals:    4.7%

2008-2010 drop in Democratic vote totals:  33.8%
2008-2010 drop in Republican vote totals:    2.5%
2012-2014 drop in Democratic vote totals:  26.9%
2012-2014 INCREASE in Republican vote totals:  0.4%
2016-2018 INCREASE in Democratic vote totals:  1.5%
2016-2018 drop in Republican vote totals:  0.6%

2008-2010 drop in Democratic voter participation:  34% vs. 2.5% for Republicans.
2012-2014 drop in Democratic voter participation:  27% vs. a 0.4% INCREASE for Republicans.

Walker's vote total increased by 18% in 2014 compared to 2010.  Mary Burke exceeded Tom Barrett's vote total by 1.8%

2008, 2010, and 2012 election figures from the (soon-to-be-snuffed?) Government Accountability Board.  The 2014 figures are preliminary.
