WEDC board members say, "Gee, maybe we should start vetting requests for financial assistance."

Vetting has never been a strength of the Walker administration.

Another fun thing about WEDC is its policies are really more like suggestions.
This is actually from their bylaws:

"ARTICLE VIII: Amendment
... To the extent any action by the Board of Directors is inconsistent with these Bylaws, as in effect at the time of the action, but the action is taken by at least the number of Directors that would be necessary to amend the Bylaws, then such action shall be given the same effect as though the Bylaws had been temporarily amended to the extent necessary to permit the specific action to be authorized and taken by the Board of Directors."

They provide for automatically and temporarily amending the bylaws. How does "temporarily amending" anything even make sense?
And, of course the WEDC Board is 10 Republicans to 2 Democrats, so literally every action they take surpasses the 2/3 threshold required to trigger this "temporary amendment" nonsense.
