In Iowa, Cruz rockets past Trump to retake 1st place -- with an exclamation point!



The behinders in the 12/14-17 CBS News/YouGov poll:
  • 2% - Jeb Bush (so much for that slow emergence), Carly Fiorina, Mike Huckabee, Rand Paul
  • 1% - John Kasich, Rick Santorum
  • 0% - George Pataki, Lindsey Graham
Other stuff:
  • 53% of poll respondents say they will definitely vote in Presidential election
  • 31% say their support of a candidate is "very strong -- I've decided".
  • 74% of Republican primary voters say they are glad Donald Trump is saying the things he says because they need to be said (not necessarily agreeing with him)
