The obituary notes he "was very active in the class of 1942, Warren Area High School."   Warren High School changed its name to Warren Area High School in September 1960, when a new facility opened on a hill above East Fifth Avenue.

Greetings from Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood

The Art Deco building that housed the NBC Radio Center in Hollywood had a very short life.  It opened in 1938 and was razed in 1964, when NBC moved its studios to "beautiful downtown Burbank".  

Another building that opened in 1938, the Earl Carroll Theater is in the background at right.  It was designated a City of Los Angeles Historical-Cultural Landmark on December 7, 2016.
