Donald Trump counted on people having short memories about Project 2025. He made the right call!

Top headline:  Earth Justice
Bottom headline:  New York Times

Earth Justice reports:
Project 2025 is a blueprint for how to destroy the environment, and the Trump administration is prepared to use it. The plans that former Trump officials and Heritage Foundation staff have outlined in this document would strip away our rights to clean air, clean water, and a healthy planet.
New York Times reporter Catrin Einhorn is among the many
with short memories:

No mention of Project 2025 in her 9/16/2026 article.

Here's it is in black and white on page 542.  (red boxes added)

GET ME REWRITE: Trump economy keeps women in the workplace, not at home making babies

Top headline:  New York Times,
Bottom headline:  KFF Health News, 12/3/2025

Stephanie Armour and Amanda Seitz report for KFF:
The Trump administration wants Americans to have more babies, and the federal government is debuting policy initiatives to reverse the falling U.S. fertility rate. In mid-October, the White House unveiled a plan to increase access to in vitro fertilization treatment. President Donald Trump has heralded such initiatives, calling himself “the fertilization president.”
But reproductive rights groups and other advocacy organizations say these efforts to buttress the birth rate don’t make up for broader administration priorities aimed at cutting federal programs such as Medicaid, its related Children’s Health Insurance Program, and other initiatives that support women and children. The pro-family focus, they say, isn’t just about boosting procreation. Instead, they say, it’s being weaponized to push a conservative agenda that threatens women’s health, reproductive rights, and labor force participation.  [emphasis added]

GET ME REWRITE: Trump's labor department parties likes it's 1911 (Project 2025 implementation)

Photo:  "Breaker Boys" by Lewis Hine
Headline:  Wisconsin State Journal, 7/27/2025

Cathy Bussewitz reports for the Associated Press:
If approved, the wide-ranging changes unveiled this month also would affect working conditions at construction sites and in mines, and limit the government's ability to penalize employers if workers are injured or killed while engaging in inherently risky activities.
The Labor Department says the goal is to reduce costly, burdensome rules imposed under previous administrations, and to deliver on President Donald Trump's commitment to restore American prosperity through deregulation.

It's all according to plan.

Or have you already forgotten?

The Associated Press has.

First Felon Donald Trump's DOGE game plan: It was all spelled out months before the election. And he lied about it over and over again.

But too many low-to-no information voters thought they'd get cheap groceries by voting for Trump.

Few voters likely expected President Donald Trump in the first weeks of his administration to slash billions of dollars from the nation’s premier federal cancer research agency. Partner logo This story also ran on CNN. It can be republished for free.
But funding cuts to the National Institutes of Health were presaged in Project 2025’s “Mandate for Leadership,” a conservative plan for governing that Trump said he knew nothing about during his campaign. Now, his administration has embraced it.
The 922-page playbook compiled by the Heritage Foundation, a conservative research group in Washington, says “the NIH monopoly on directing research should be broken” and calls for capping payments to universities and their hospitals to “help reduce federal taxpayer subsidization of leftist agendas.”
