Walker unsuccessfully ran for president in the 2016 race and then lost re-election as governor to Evers in 2018. He has since worked as president of Young America’s Foundation, a group that aims to mobilize young conservatives, particularly on college campuses. [snip]
Two Republican candidates have launched bids for governor: Whitefish Bay manufacturing CEO Bill Berrien and Washington County Executive Josh Schoemann. Others may enter the race, too.
Congressman Tom Tiffany, who represents the 7th Congressional District, is also considering a run.
