Workers in the management occupations are the highest paid in this industry, averaging $28.68 per hour, and they have the most average weekly hours, 43.1. In comparison, service occupations have the lowest average wages in that sector ($12.97) and average only 31.6 hours per week. Combining these data to calculate average weekly wages, workers in management occupations are paid nearly three times as much as workers in service occupations. [emphasis added]
