The album version of "D.O.A", clocking in at 8:20, appears on Bloodrock 2, which debuted on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart for the week ending 11/7/1970.
An edited 45rpm version, clocking in at 4:15, debuted at #94 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week ending 1/2/1971. Despite its being banned by numerous radio stations, it peaked at #36 in early March and spent a total of 13 weeks on the chart. It is the group's only appearance on the Hot 100, which, I suppose, makes them eligible for one-hit wonder status.
"Stilled by Whirlwind Tongues" is a cut on Bloodrock's final studio album, released in February 1974. It didn't chart. Music fans perferred their Tull straight from the source.
