Vet (verb): Not in the Scott Walker Administration Vocabulary

Walker officials declined to comment on Barnes' claims. 

But a GOP operative involved in major campaign events called Barnes' account implausible, saying the people on the stage with Walker likely were selected and vetted weeks in advance. An event volunteer also would probably not have the authority to add three people to the stage at the last second, he said.   [emphasis added]

Baldauff, the Dem Party spokeswoman, vouched for Barnes' version of events, saying it's clear that Walker's team has had problems with vetting in the past. She cited the time Walker introduced a registered sex offender at his state of the state address last year.
