What Happened the Last Time a Minimum Wage Bill was Introduced in the Wisconsin State Legislature


Assembly Bill 286.   Relating to: a state minimum wage, extending the time limit for emergency rule procedures, providing an exemption from emergency rule procedures, providing an exemption from rule-making procedures, and requiring the exercise of rule-making authority.

A 3-step approach
  • $8.20 before the 1st day of the 15th month after the bill's publication
  • $9.05 on the last day of the 26th month after publication
  • $10.10 on the last day of the 38th month after publication
