Job Center @ Delaware Libraries
Delaware libraries launch program to help unemployed. (CommunityPub.com, 10/16/2011)
Excerpt: Job centers are positioned throughout the state in areas where unemployment is high. Aside from the Dover library, the three other anchor sites are located at the Wilmington Institute Library, the Georgetown Public Library and Seaford Library & Cultural Center.
Residents looking for employment will have access to 10 laptops, a videoconferencing unit, email, online courses, resume assistance, GED testing and a variety of exams for college admissions and professional certifications. A trained coordinator, with help from a group of volunteers, oversees each center.
