A closer look at Wisconsin's population loss: Racine County

Since its founding, Racine County experienced steady, incremental population growth until 1940, at which point it entered a 30-year boom period when its population nearly doubled.  Marginal growth occurred during the 1970s and 1980, followed by 2 decades of slight acceleration.  Since the 2010 census, the county has lost an estimated 328 residents.
