Kelli Arseneau reports:
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is investigating several reports of dead birds in the road near Milwaukee's Century City Business park on Milwaukee's north side.
Online social media posts indicated many dead birds were found in the area of North 31st Street and Went Hope Avenue, and on Capitol Drive between North 31st and 35th Streets.
The carcasses of several seagulls could be seen July 2 on a section of West Hope Avenue near a manufacturing building. Many seagulls gathered at and around the building could be heard squawking.
