Meet Ken Hambone, America's favorite undecided pervert

America’s sweetheart Ken Bone posted some really gross stuff on Reddit.  (Death and Taxes, 10/14/2016)
Brought to you by the Scott Walker vetting team.  If we’ve learned anything from 2016, it’s that America really sucks at picking the right people to be popular.

The latest on the GOP sexist pig running for President

Quoted in Donald Trump implied Hillary Clinton has a subpar ass.  (Death and Taxes, 10/14/2016)

Pennsylvania place names: It takes up to 4 hours and 30 minutes to get from Intercourse to Climax

And there are at least 3 ways to go by car.

I learned about Intercourse in grade school after a friend returned home from a family trip to Pennsylvania's Amish Country.   We shared more than a few fits of giggles.

On the other hand, I never reached (awareness of ) Climax until today, when I encountered the place name in an obituary in my hometown paper, the Warren Times Observer.

Santa Ana as the face of a new California

Source:  Wikipedia

This City Is 78% Latino, and the Face of a New California.  (The New York Times, 10/11/2016)
The power and presence of Latinos in this community in Orange County — itself once a bastion of Republicanism — is echoed up and down the California coast. Latinos now make up just under 40 percent of the state’s population, projected to increase to 47 percent by 2050. The leaders of both houses of the Legislature are Latino, as is the secretary of state, the current mayor of Los Angeles and the previous mayor.

Quoted in Federal judge says voter ID training for Wisconsin DMV workers was 'manifestly inadequate', by Jesse Opoien.   (The Capital Times, 10/12/2016)
A federal judge said Wednesday the state of Wisconsin has fallen short on its court-ordered obligations to inform voters lacking necessary documents how to obtain a photo ID, but signaled it is unlikely he will suspend the state's voter ID law for the November election.
