Reviews are in for far-right Ottawa Impact: They suck!

Headline:  Holland Senbtinel, 10/11/2024

From a rating of +41 to -32 in 5 years.  Nice work, Joe and Sylvia!
A countywide employee survey, conducted by Gallagher Surveys between July 23 and Aug. 17, saw 721 responses out of 1,151 employees with a roughly 2% margin of error.
The survey was shared with The Sentinel on Thursday, Oct. 10. When asked how likely it was they'd recommend Ottawa County as a place to work, the survey yielded a -32 score. It's the lowest rating seen since internal surveys began in 2004. In 2019, the survey yielded a 41. In 2021, it yielded a 28.
The new board, led by far-right grassroots group Ottawa Impact, took office in January 2023. The faction is slated to lose control in January 2024, after losing several key primary races. The upcoming board will serve through 2029, thanks to a revision in state law that doubles the term length of commissioners.

Rape and lewdness in the Name of the Lord (Oklahoma edition)

Headline:  KRMG, 10/11/2024
A jury found an Inola pastor guilty of rape and two counts of lewd or indecent acts involving young girls Thursday morning.
4 years ago, Inola pastor Roy Shoop was arrested.
“I felt I was looking the devil right in the eye,” said Sheriff Scott Walton from the Rogers County Sheriff’s Office as he explained the moment he handcuffed Roy Shoop, “and I believe he was, and we put him right where he needs to be.”
Shoop was the pastor of the Cowboy Gatherin’ Church in Inola. The DA’s office said he and his wife have trained children to compete in rodeo events such as barrel racing and roping.
Walton said, “A situation came to an end last night that was four years in the making...and here’s my opinion, he was successful at playing courthouse lawyer games and buying himself 4 years of freedom, and last night it came to an end. We handcuffed him, walked him across, and stuffed him in the jail where he belongs.”

Grocery: Demented Donald Trump explains it all for us in fluent gibberish

Raw Story, 10/11/2024
"Let me tell you something," she said. "There is something wrong with people who can watch that and think the alternative, Kamala Harris, isn't more articulate, more prepared, more experienced, more able to – and when I say articulate, that means actually deliver a message to the American people on a certain policy. You know she can. If you can't believe it, and this is your choice, you're lying to yourself. You're going to ruin this country. That's – it's going to be on you. It's going to be on you."
"There's no way you can watch that or any of his speeches and get anything out of it except for a hateful, racist, bigoted, tired, aging, branding – I wouldn't say genius – branding-obsessed narcissist," Brzezinski added.

Two clowns give a thumbs-up sign: Couldn't help but doctor this Scott Walker tweet

Word on the street is ithat the GOP ground game is anemic.  And that's certainly the case in Wisconsin.

Here's a 9/19/2024 headline from the conservative Washington Examiner:

This echoes what a person Semafor described as a “Republican operative who votes in a swing state” said in a story published earlier this month: “I’m as plugged in as they get — and yet I don’t even know who my friends and family back home can contact for a yard sign or to knock doors in their precinct.”
The New York Times reported on Tuesday that the Musk super PAC ditched the canvassing firm it had hired to turn out Republicans and Trump voters in the swing states of Arizona and Nevada at this late date.
NBC News reported on Republican disagreements over a strategy to try to turn out low-propensity voters who have skipped out on previous elections when the GOP underperformed but are supportive of Trump this year.
Neither of thse two clowns have ever worked hard in their lives.
