In Donald Trump's America, more people claim 'American' ancestry; census data shows.  (Cleveland.com, 12/8/2017)
In 57 U.S. counties, one-third or more of the people identified as American. Trump won 56 of those counties, usually by wide margins. His average vote share in those 56 counties was 75 percent.
Fourteen of the 57 counties are in Tennessee, 13 in Kentucky, seven in Virginia, and five each in Alabama and Florida.
