In the  Assembly, all the 'yes' votes were made by Republicans.  Assembly Bill 68 passed on October 20, 2015, on a 60-38 party-line vote.

In the Senate, all the 'yes' votes were made by Republicans.  Senate Bill 43 passed on October 21, 2015, on a 18-14 party line vote.

Governor Walker signed the bill on October 23, 2015.
