Dear James, You don't compare September 2016 to, say, July 2016.  You compare September 2016 to September 2016.  Global land temperatures have plummeted by one degree Celsius since the middle of this year – the biggest and steepest fall on record.

As you might suspect, James Delingpole is a climate change denier.
