Co-chairs Sen,. Alberta Darling (R-River Hills) and Rep. John Nygren (R-Marinette) did not bring this funding request from the Government Accountability Board to the full committee for a vote. Perhaps they didn't want the meeting to turn into The Glenn Grothman Show.

The letter says the budget committee will later consider an appropriation request based on the campaign's actual cost.
