The latest CNN/ORC Republican presidential primary poll likes the Florida boys

  • 7% - Ben Carson
  • 5% - Rick Perry
  • 4% - Chris Christie
  • 3% - George Pataki
  • 3% - Donald Trump
  • 2% - Rick Santorum
  • 1% - Carly Fiorina
  • 1% - Lindsey Graham
  • 1% - Bobby Jindal
  • 1% - John Kasich
8% of respondents answered "someone else", "none/no one", "don't know".

    • 621 landline
    • 404 cell
    • total sample margin of error:  +/-3%

Some takeaways:
  • Rand Paul has biggest gender gap:  men (13%) and women (2%); Walker is 2nd (13%/6%)
  • Based on the statistics offered for question #24, this poll reached a lot of geezers.  No breakdown is offered for respondents under 50 years of age.
