Cruz edges his way into 1st in latest Iowa caucus poll



The behinders in the 1/18-19 KBUR poll:
  • 4% - Chris Christie, Mike Huckabee
  • 3% - Rand Paul, John Kasich, Carly Fiorina
  • 1% - Rick Santorum
Other stuff
  • Almost 47% of poll respondents are 55 year of age or older
  • Candidate preference by type of vehicle owned
    • coupe - 26.3% for Carson
    • sedan - 28.9% for Cruz
    • minivan - 39.5% for Cruz
    • truck - 31.6% for Trump
