Keeping the Lines of Communication Open in Poynette

Excerpt: Citing a need to improve communication with the Poynette Library Board, village board members voted at Monday night's committee of the whole meeting to create a seven-person "liaison" committee to work with both boards on library expansion.
The village board and library boards would each provide three members, and the village plan commission would provide one.
"That's a pretty important piece of the downtown," said Poynette President Jerry Burke.
Trustee Andy Ross said the focus of the committee should be focused solely on communications between the boards on the expansion of the library, citing the need for both the library and village board to retain their respective responsibiliti
